Went with this one on a whim. Got out of the service with a love of the M9’s ergonomics and had a buddy with a 92f looking to sell. Bought it before really thinking about the bells and whistles we all want on our carry gun-most importantly of course a light.
All the other options looked goofy and janky and, though I’ve NEVER heard of this site before finding this, it looked like I could at least have a chance with finding a holster to fit.
Fits on there nice with my X300 light and, though my IWB carry gun is now a fat*ss behemoth that (IMPORTANT NOTE) doesn’t fit in M9A1-4 series holsters, it DOES fit in the Floodlight holster I bought and I am still easily able to draw, go to work, and return to holster smooth enough.
If you’ve already got the stature for carrying and using a service-size handgun with light, and just missed the one-or-two braincell cut-off point that would have told you ‘hey, stupid, just get a new one with a rail’ like I did, then this adapter is for you.
tl;dr: It doesn’t look like a*s, it fits perfectly fine on my 92f, it at least fits in A holster-even if that holster’s bulky as hell, and after
probably a few thousand rounds now, I haven’t needed to tighten or adjust it in any way.
I see no need to give it less if it does what it says it would do. Five stars.
